DESCRIPTION
We named this variant after the Mount Kitanglad Range Natural Park (MKRNP) where this was grown and harvested by our partner community.
The Mt. Kitanglad range occupies portions of 8 municipalities in Bukidnon, and prominently known as the ancestral domain of the three major indigenous tribes: the Talaandig, Higaonon, and Bukidnon. The mountain range provides them various ecosystem services like water supply and agricultural soil for farming.
